This little out of the way park has the name that was one of the finalist when they were planning on incorporating the town in 1991. LaSalle won out as the town name, however anyone who visits Brunett Park in the spring I'm sure wil see lots of evidence of the trillium, Ontario's provincial flower. Trillium grandiflorum is a species of flowering perennial herbaceous plant that is native to North America ranging from the northern Quebec to the south of the United States. In Canada, this plant is also diverse in British Columbia. The white trillium is famous for its three-petaled white flowers. I hope you enjoy this peaceful little park as much as I have with the grandchildren.
