The lore of Chester, Illinois, holds that the character of Popeye was inspired by town resident Frank “Rocky” Fiegel. Lee Huffstutler, herself a Chester local, makes and well supports this argument. According to Huffstutler, Rocky Fiegel was of Polish descent and lived with his mother in a house near the Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Huffstutler describes him as “tall, strong, always ready for a fight and always a winner”. Source: An internet search.
This cache in the ever growing Popeye series is, like the others, hidden somewhere in Coyote Point County Park. The cache takes its name from Mr. Fiegel's nickname. Please note that when searching for the cache, it is at the bottom, touching the ground, and under a rock (with a certain logo on it). So there is no need to take the "wall" apart - probably visible when you peak between rocks. It is on the side closer to the pedestrian path not the side closer to the Golf Course/park ranger entry toll booth. Please re-hide carefully.
There is an entry fee for vehicles entering into Coyote Point Park (but this is right across from the golf course parking lot so it is possible to park there for free for the short walk over to the cache. Otherwise, free walking/cycling/skate-boarding/running access via the main entrance or Bay Trail access points.
