Welcome to the Rembrandt park!
Located in Amsterdam West, the Rembrandtpark is an ideal place to sit out in the sun and enjoy a picnic. The park is a green oasis with ponds, playgrounds and walking and biking paths. You can also visit De Uylenburg, the oldest petting zoo in Amsterdam. The park is named after the 17th-century painter Rembrandt. The park was completed in 1973 and has a surface area of 45 hectares (110 acres). It's a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and a great quieter alternative to the nearby Vondelpark!
