Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the posted coordinates. Thank goodness, otherwise you and I would both have a miserable time trying to find/place it.

Pre-script: I ran out of camo tape so I had to be a bit innovative.
As many of my cache hides happen, whenever I'm outside, usually when I'm walking my dog, driving around, doing some errand, or geocaching, I keep a keen eye, and I spot a location that absolutely needs to have a cache in it. Yet, sometimes that location already has a cache within .1 miles, and it is is unusable, but other times, it doesn't, and I get to place my cache there. Most of the time, the area is clear, but I have had a few times where my spots have been thwarted by other cache hides. Every once and so often, some of you may know, I place a cache, and then I find a spot near it that I have to utilize, but my own cache is too close, so I end up archiving the original cache so I can absorb it into a multi with the other spot, that way both spots can be used (see An Urban Lakeside Multi (GC92TQM), and A Caching we will go! (GC94T04). Nevertheless, those two multis are going strong and my "archived caches" (as of this date) are not actually archived, they are just stages in the ones I mentioned above. Today, on this beautiful Monday, I went back to the spot I had spotted (excuse the horrific pun) and placed a container there.

Of course, camoed containers are fun and all, but I felt like this cache needed a little more to it, so I added a little puzzle.

Now that we have discussed a little about how I find my cache spots, let's discuss cache spots in general. Spots can range all the way from the Lamp Post Cache to the creative _____ (fill in the most creative spot you've seen a geocache hidden in).

In a forest: Hollow stump, hanging from a tree limb, behind some rocks, under some rocks, in a rock. Behind some sticks, underneath some sticks, in a stick (yes I have seen that).  Urban: LPC, fence post, brick wall, stone wall, bird house, etc. The point is there are tons of places that a geocache can be hidden, and some have become known, while others are less known, or even unique. Some are easier to find, while some conceal the container, or at least the log, quite well.

What are some the most interesting spots/nooks/crannies etc. that you've found a cache in. If you want, you can even name that cache in your log. Not locations, nor containers, the actual hiding spot. A host would count. If you are also a cache hider, I wonder how my method is similar or different to your method of finding places to hide your containers.

To solve the puzzle: You must visit the cache descriptions of my two other Mystery caches that were placed before this (in chronological order) and find one word from each. The third word you will find in this cache page.

Things to note:

  • BYOP
  • Some space to trade SWAG and smaller Trackables
  • Unlike the first two words, you may have to spell this one out.
  • You will need an online tool to translate this terrifying trio of terms.

Good Luck, and Happy Caching!

Congratulations to saberspark77 for the FTF!
