CRGT - Schloss Rotenturm
Von Untergang und Fall zu Aufstieg und Glanz.
1862 bis 1864 wurde das gegenwärtige Schloss in romanisierend-orientalischen Formen, mit hellen Dekorationselementen auf rotgeputztem Grund, im Auftrag der Grafenfamilie Erdődy unter der Leitung des Baumeisters Johann Lang (1822–1900) errichtet.
Im Folgenden erlebte Rotenturm seine erste Glanzzeit: Das Schloss beherbergte bis 1929 die wertvollen Sammlungen des kunstsinnigen gräflichen Paares Julius und Emilie Erdődy. 1924 vernichtete ein Brand den Großteil der Inneneinrichtung, darunter das Erdődysche Familienarchiv und das im Turm aufbewahrte Geheimarchiv des ungarischen Freiheitshelden Fürst Franz II. Rákóczi (1676–1735) Anführer des Kuruzenkrieges (1704–1711).
1929 wurden die in Rotenturm befindlichen Sammlungen versteigert; für kurze Zeit wurde das Schloss vom tschechischen Geigenvirtuosen Jan Kubelík übernommen. 1971 kam das Gebäude in Besitz des Landes Burgenland. Seit 2008 ist es wieder in Privatbesitz.

Die Kinder begeben sich auf die Suche nach Schlossgeist Leonidas. Mit Hilfe einer Kindergartenpädagogin haben wir knifflige Rätsel erarbeitet, die gelöst werden müssen. Im Schlosspark wartet ein Parcours, der mit dem Steckenpferd bezwungen wird. Natürlich gibt es nach so viel Anstrengung auch eine leckere Jause. Besonders wichtig ist uns hierbei, dass alle Zutaten aus biologischer Herkunft stammen!

CRGT - Rotenturm Castle
From decline and fall to rise and shine.
From 1862 to 1864, the present castle was commissioned by Count Erdõdy and his family and built under the direction of master builder Johann Lang (1822-1900) in a style reminiscent of the Romanesque and the Orient, in red stucco ornamented with bright decorative elements.
In the years that followed, Rotenturm flourished for a time. Until 1929, the castle housed the valuable collections of the Count Julius and Emilie Erdődy, who were ardent art lovers. In 1924, a fire destroyed most of the interior furnishings, including the Erdődy family archives and the secret archives of the Hungarian hero, Prince Franz II Rákóczi (1676-1735). The archives of this leader of a Kuruc uprising against the Habsburgs from 1703-1711, had been housed in the tower of the castle..
In 1929, the remaining collections located in Rotenturm were auctioned off. For a brief time the castle was taken over by the Czech violin virtuoso Jan Kubelík. In 1971, the Federal State of Burgenland took possession of the castle. Since 2008 it has been in private hands once again.

The children search for the little ghost Leonidas. With the help of a kindergarten teacher, we have worked out tricky puzzles that fascinate children as they search for solutions. Then ride a hobby horse through a racecourse in the castle's park. Of course, after so much effort, you have earned a delicious snack, made of course, from organic ingredients!

CRGT - Dvorec Rotenturm
Od propada in padca do vzpona in blišča.
Med leti 1862 in 1864 je bil sedanji dvorec zgrajen v romansko-orientalski podobi, s svetlimi okrasnimi elementi na rdeče ometani osnovi, po naročilu grofovske družine Erdődy pod vodstvom gradbenika Johanna Langa (1822–1900).
V nadaljevanju je dvorec Rotenturm doživel svoj prvi razcvet: do leta 1928 se je v njem nahajala dragocena zbirka umetniško navdahnjenega grofovskega para Juliusa in Emilie Erdődy. Leta 1924 je požar uničil večji del notranje opreme, med drugim tudi družinski arhiv Erdődy in v stolpu hranjeni skrivni arhiv madžarskega narodnega junaka kneza Franza II. Rákóczi (1676–1735), vodje madžarske vstaje proti Habsburžanom (1704–1711).
Leta 1929 je bila zbirka, ki se je nahajala v dvorcu, prodana na dražbi; za kratek čas je dvorec prevzel češki violinski virtuoz Jana Kubelíka. V letu 1971 je prešel v last dežele Gradiščansko. Od leta 2008 je ponovno v zasebni lasti.

V grajskem parku se nahaja parkour, ki ga je potrebno premagati s konjičkom na palici. Seveda je po toliko napora na voljo tudi malica. Pri tem skrbimo, da so vse sestavine biološkega izvora!
