Geocache Description:

This area is a new trail formed from a reclaimed mining waste area on the out skirts of South Fork, which is known for being in the the path of the great 1889 Johnstown Flood. The plan is for this trail to connect the South Fork Dam area to the Path of the Flood Trail that continues to Johnstown on the other side of South Fork. After a short climb from the parking area, you will see a small waterfall as the trail flattens out. You are looking for a larger camoflaged pill bottle a short distance off the trail. Area is open to hunting so wear your orange.

We want to thank the landowners of the area around the trail for giving permission for placement of this cache.
