This cache was placed with approval by the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) on 3/22/2021.
The Sabal Point Wildlife Sanctuary has a well maintained trail that is roughly 1.6 miles long. You are looking for a camoflaged metal cache container that has room for small collectibles. I placed it near the end of the trail, so you'll be hiking a roughly 5km roundtrip to get this. The area near the end of the trail is generally pretty wet and the mosquitos will be out in force. Bring your mosquito repellent or plan to get eaten alive. You will need to go off trail, but it is not a heavy bushwhack. At the time I placed this, there was a dry path all the way to the cache. Look for high ground and stay out of the low, wet areas. Conditions obviously could change if we get heavy rains, but I think this should stay dry. My 4 year old son "hiked" with me to hide this, so if your kids are adventurous they will enjoy this cache.
