This cache is along a little-known connector trail - nested deep in suburban Saratoga but feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. It criss-crosses a tiny creek whose name we don't know.
Sometimes you can see tiny fish in the creek, and there's also evidence of old pumping works, presumably from when Saratoga was covered in orchards.
At the northernmost end of this trail the creek converges with Wildcat Creek.
