Geocache Description:


A series of trenches along McCreery Lake Trail is full of life. There are flatworms, mosquito larvae, crustacea, duckweeds and even newt eggs - if you have a microscope, bring a bottle and collect samples.
The last one, just after the Halls Valley Trail junction is the most abundant, it's actually a tiny uncharted lake.
For cyclists: you can ride the bike on Halls Valley Trail but not along the lake.
