Flatrock Creek Valley View
Along the walk to find this Geocache, the explorer passes through to the beautifully rehabilitated bushland that sits on top of what was once a rubbish tip! This land has been carefully restored to vibrant bushland by Willoughby City Council's Bushland Team. We hid the Geocache close to the southern edge (or 'face') of the old rubbish tip so that players are rewarded with a view looking east, down into Flat Rock Creek Gully, and across to Northbridge. Some may even glimpse the top of the historic Cammeray bridge!
The Geocache was created by local kids participating in one of Council's free to the public School Holiday Bushland Adventures, and is in a weatherproof plastic container with a generous selection of treasures to swap with and enjoy :)
