I've been hearing how April 3, 2021 is the final countdown. I think BLASTOFF!
I remember as a child watching the Gemini and then the Apollo launches. I'lm old enough to remember the first Moon landing. I remember watching the first shuttle launch and landing as well as the Challenger and Columbia explosions. Locally, I've watched launches from the Wallops Island launch facilty just south of us. And my oldest child works for United Launch Alliance on the Vulcan rocket.
The small container here resembles a rocket. But there is too much tree cover here to launch. I may have hidden it behind a wooden door so that muggle eyes won't discover it accidentally. It's on the side of the trail away from the creek and slightly up the hill in a natural storage location not on the ground.
