Geocache Description:

Was heading towards Pahrump today and had to pull over to stretch my legs.  Was taking a walk and looked over to my right and saw something sparkling in the distance.  Decided to investigate and Lo and Behold I discovered this reserved Crown in the desert.  This is the 4th Crown I have found in the area surrounding Las Vegas.  Was not aware so much royalty was in this area.  Decided to leave it where I spotted it to see if anyone else is lucky enough to spot this SPECIAL CROWN.  Remember even though this in sight of the highway there are still things out here that can either, poke, sting, or bite you.  If you hear a musical rattle it is usually attached to something you don't want to mess with so be cautious.  Please ensure you hide this valuble crown as well as you found it.

To get your answer for D on my puzzle Solar Eclipse. Find the date that the first ever Heart Transplant happened in South Africa.  Once you find that date then you must look for when a visible Solar Eclipse occurred on the same calendar date in Las Vegas.  Then use the second number in the year that eclipse occurred for D.
