Number 19 in a series of 25 Geocache that is placed along a trail that starts in Dilton Marsh, and takes you to the remote village of Upton-Scudamore.
Before I go any further, I cannot stress this enough, YOU WILL NEED TWEEZERS. Many of the caches are small and tweezers are the only way to get logs out. If you don’t have a pair, all surrounding supermarkets will sell then and they are usually pretty cheap.
This is a very nice little woodland, however, it does like to get a bit boggy at the bottom. You can get some great views down the hill of Dilton Marsh at the other end of the woodland by the pointless kissing gate.
Details and a summary of the trail can be found on Old Upton Marsh - Root hill, the first cache. I hope you enjoy/are enjoying my trail :-)
