It's funny. April 3rd: I was walking around this area, trying to place a cache here, looking for spots that weren't too close to the multi that was here called Boris (GC1DB65). I had never found Boris. I had searched multiple times. One day I was walking my dog in this park. No intention of looking for Boris, just taking a stroll. Being the geocacher I am, I wasn't sticking to the path but bushwacking a little, and I stumbled upon a little something. Well, my dog actually found it. It looked to be a geocaching container, and it happened to be the container for Boris! See my Log for the full story. Anyway, the point is, I had finally found it. I refrain from logging it since I never really found S1. I had tried multiple times to get S1, but it just wasn't there anymore apparently. I had just stumbled upon the final. 2 days later, April 5th, I am back here ready to go for S1 for maybe my 3rd time and realize something quite strange. I look on the map on my geocaching app, and Boris isn't showing up. I reload it, and it still isn't there. What? I go to my lists, where I know I had Boris in my list of "Caches I Want to Find", and what I see astonishes me. It had been archived! The cache I had found 2 days earlier was suddenly archived. My initial reaction was shock and grief as a Finder since that meant I couldn't ever find S1. My next was euphoria, as a Cache Owner, that meant that this little park area was completely opened up for me to place something here. I didn't have to worry about it being .1 miles away from other caches.
As I'm walking back home with the dog, I'm thinking to myself how much of a shame it really is that this is gone. Yeah, I found it just in time, but I never really got to experience S1, and now it was gone. Even if I placed a cache in these woods it wouldn't be the same. So . . . I decided to do the only respectable thing. I decedied to resurrect Boris. I would combine it with my cache ideas to make a fun hunt for all to enjoy and remember this great cache.
For those that don't know: Boris is a spider, and he built this amazing web. Although, he fled his web because of all the development around it that started happening. You have to explore his old home to find the clue that will lead you to his new one.

- This cache will be hard to find if it has recently snowed.
- Everything you need is provided, you do not need to bring any special tools.
- Please replace everything EXACTLY as found. That is key to Boris' survival.
