Geocache Description:


This location is a cool piece of history. Built in 1924, Lecompte High school is a significant historic landmark of Bayou Boeuf. It was open for 46 years and it closed in 1970. In 1991 it was donated to the Town of Lecompte. It is now a musuem and a branch of the Rapides Parish Library
