Butterflies, depending on the species, live from a few days to a few months.
Incomplete transformation
Some insects skip the bug level. They hatch from the egg like nymphs and have neither sexual organs nor wings when it comes to winged insects. They develop during adolescence, when they survive multiple levitations.
