Welcome to our first multicache we hope you enjoy it.
This cache will take you for a 3mile walk around Tom's Down and Fields Heath where as a child i spent many hours exploring the gravel tracks around forest. Depending on the time of year and recent rainfall it is advised you wear suitable footwear for a wet and muddy adventure.
You will need to visit the 7 locations posted below in order to collect some numbers for the final location along with a code to access the log. Each of the locations have a question that once answered will give you a single digit that needs to be remembered for later.
Stage 1- "Starting point" What is the missing number on the post at the starting location? _419442 = A
Stage 2 "It's a date" When must you keep your dog on a short lead between? _ March - 31 July = B
Stage 3 "The holder of all power" How many horizontal arms are on the pylon at this location? = C
Stage 4 "See the light" How many narrow windows can be seen on the front of the church? = D
Stage 5 "Off the grid" whats the national grid reference number seen hanging from the pylon? _YD7 = E
Stage 6 "Heads up" How many lines are supported by the post at his location? = F
Stage 7 "Pane in the glass" How many panes of glass can be seen in the door at this location? = G
If you have collected all the numbers from the previous 7 stages correctly the location of the cache can be found at N50 EA.(D+B)(B+F)(C-B) W001 (C-E)B.G(F-B)(C-F)
Check sum for all digits is 38.
Once at the Cache location use the numbers in order A-G to access the log, first to find will win the £2 inside the cache.
The cache has been moved from its original location due to it going missing. The name has been changed to now match the new GZ. This area is a high muggle area so please take care. The cache has just enough room for the log, pencil and a small trackable please ensure the log is sealed back in the bag once signed and cache well covered.
