In the year 2013 and the year 2018 there were auctions of two trails of 81 Gromit statues to help raise money for charity. The first one raised £3.5 million. The Gromit which attracted the highest bid was Gromit Lightyear, designed based on the Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear which sold for £65,000. Toy Story is an American computer animated comedy film. Toy Story premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California on the date ABth November CDEF.
