Geocache Description:

27 June 2021, 09:00 - 11:00

Minot has survived another North Dakota winter, and needs a bit of sprucing up.  Come on out and help us leave it better than we found it!

_______________________________________________________________

Meeting time will be at 0900 am at the Minot American Legion Post 26.  1949 N Broadway, Minot, ND 58703.

The CITO staff will provide plastic bags, plastic gloves, limited trash gathering tools, and other equipment as needed to complete cleanup/beautification goals.

From 0900 to 1100 the logbook will be available, but we will continue until we have sufficiently met CITO goals.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves, trash grabbing tools and sturdy/waterproof footwear is strongly recommended. There are many areas where CITO participants could find themselves muddy/wet terrain.

Participants will be asked to follow ND Department of Health COVID-19 protective guidelines.  For more info see https://www.health.nd.gov/ndhelps.

Should you have extra trash grabbers at home please bring them with you because we might not be able to provide trash grabbers and gloves for everyone depending on how many people participate in the CITO.

We are planning to form teams so we can cover a larger area.

After the trash is picked up we will meet up again at the meeting point. Then we will have a potluck finger food luncheon. If you would like to prepare something for the luncheon please send me a message or make a note in the Will Attend Log.
