Geocache Description:

Please only do this geocache and all Goffs Adventure Lab locations during daylight hours.
I
n a recent email from Goffs' Executive Director, she informed me, "It’s difficult there at Goffs to have cars parking along the road or driving into the entrance when we are closed to the public. We had 2 major fires that were arson. The general store across the tracks was burnt to the ground, along with a house, so folks have been a bit on edge lately.  It is everyone’s responsibility as guests or employees to investigate every unusual vehicle and be hyper-vigilant."

I want to thank the Mojave Desert Heritage & Cultural Association for allowing me to place this geocache here and for agreeing to maintain it for me. Without their gracious assistance, the bonus cache would not have been possible.

This is the bonus cache for the Historic Rt66 Adventure: Needles to Goffs, CA. The geocache is in plain sight. It is not necessary to enter the property to retrieve the geocache.

There are two ways to get this cache. The first is to visit these three locations of the Adventure in any order.

  1. Stotts Two-Stamps Miller to get the latitude
  2. Route 66 Building to get the longitude
  3. Goffs Cemetary to get the combination to the lock

It is less than a mile drive from the Goffs Cemetary to Stotts Two-Stamp Mill. The geocache is between the two.

If you are opposed to doing Adventures, then you may go to the posted coordinates, find the answer to this question, and enter it into Certitudes. This will give you the coordinates to the final.

What is the last word written on the Jean Lois Ford's gravestone?

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

If you have NOT done the Adventure, you will need the combination to the lock. It is one of these ten words:

BOOK DIAL JUNK LOCK MILE
NINE PENS REST STAY TICK
