The first purchase of land in the Green Bay West Shore Wildlife Area occurred in the Sensiba Unit in 1948. Sensiba Unit is a 570-acre property located in the Brown County Village of Suamico along the Bay of Green Bay north of the Suamico River.
Sensiba has coastal marshes along the shore of Green Bay. Inland areas are wooded with a mixture of bottomland hardwoods, oak, aspen and cottonwood. Some former agricultural fields are a mix of shrubs and grasses.
DNR permission has been granted for the placement of this cache. Correspondence and official approval with the DNR Peshtigo office are on file with the cache owner.
Bring your own pen/pencil. Depending on the season or if recent rain it could be a little wet getting to the cache.
As with any geocache find be alert for muggles. Please leave it like you found it so that the next cacher can enjoy the same hunt as you did.
