I remember growing up, Six Flags Over Texas had a ride called "LaSalle's Riverboat."

The ride is long gone, but visiting the cemetery in LaSalle, TX to pay my respects to Trooper Chad Walker brought back this childhood memory, given the name LaSalle. I wonder how close to this area the explorer actually came to GZ, but I doubt it. I am willing to be proven wrong because history always intrigues me.
As you look for this cache, stop to honor Trooper Walker, one of our first responders who gave his life in doing his duty.
