Snow Shoe/Cross Country ski in Winter and Hike/Bike in the Summer up Hefferman Gulch. The distance to the cache is just a little over a mile along a gentle trail with moderage elevation gain. Plenty of old growth Aspen and some really cool old cabins along the way. As we snow shoed in here today looking for Greasepot's cache, my wife commented "this place looks like a Snow Globe!" As you head up the old road, there will be a fork in the trail, you'll want to go right across the creek and follow that trail up. The cache is very much winter friendly as we hid it in 10 inches of fresh snow, just a few feet off the main trail. Happy Hunting!
