Willow Bridge a foot and cycle bridge across the River Great Ouse was opened in 2011, linking Eaton Socon and Eynesbury, enabling pupils attending Ernulf Academy to avoid cycling through the town centre and improving connections to existing cycle paths.
The bridge had an estimated construction cost of £3.5 million and is a bow strig arch bridge with a span of 346 m (1,135 ft), including lighting and long access ramps to enable it to continue be usable when the river floods.
The cache is at the Eynsbury end of the bridge and is a large tube containing a log, pen, collectables and swaps.
