FINALLY!
Since events are starting to pop back up in Ohio, I've been itching to have one in the Columbus area for the last year. And this is one of my favorite days of the year to hold such an event: Star Wars Day! Well, almost.... this year I already have a pre-planned event I am committed to attend on Tuesday the 4th, so I figured I could do this on the eve of SWD.... (close enough).
This quick, one hour event celebrates my favorite movie since seeing it when I was 9 years old. And on top of that I hope to meet some local area geocachers since I am new to the area, having recently moved here a few weeks ago. Feel free to show up even if you are not local... Would love to meet you!
We will convene briefly at a park area, adjacent to the Bexley Community Garden, just south of Bexley Village apartments (Mayfield Place and Ferndale Place intersection) - Parking coordinates are listed, can enter from Livingston Ave. There is a pavilion where we can meet and a small playground there as well in case you have any kids. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Feel free to mask up and social distance if you desire. We will go from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. And if I can find what I am looking for-- I will have a small, special gift for geocachers who attend (still unpacking stuff LOL).
Hope to see you there, and May The Force Be With You!
