A small container which should hold a TB or two. There is plenty of log sheet - lots of space, but don't waste it, please.
This location is quite isolated, but there is a "little bridge" nearby and a brand new kiss gate marking the trail. Well, it looked very new when I placed the cache. However - the trail/footpath goes a bit astray here and might be difficult to pick back up - the signs were confusing and there appears to be a barrier across the path. I checked with at least two maps and it is a designated footpath. Maybe the landowner isn't keen? I'm sure folk will find a way!!
After I placed the cache, I sat by the little bridge and reflected on my choice - a "proper" cache location, and a good place to call it a day. I'd always preferred quiet rural locations and this place ticked those boxes.
This spot will be additionally memorable because although the ground was quite hard and dry after a prolonged dry spell, my wife managed to find what seemed to be the only patch of mud on the hill to fall over in. We were grateful for the nearby stream where she could have a bit of a clean up!!!!
