The forest-park Kraljevica is one of the most popular recreational parks in the town of Zajecar. The forest was planted at the end of the 19th and the beggining of the 20th century. The largest part of the forest was planted under the mayorship of Milan Miljkovic (1920-1926). Today Kraljevica contains several monuments, two 19-century fortressses, sport courts and a swimming pool. The rock festival "Gitatijada" is held everu summer on Kraljevica.
The pavillion with the restaurant and children playground was built in the period between two world wars. Today this place contains the so called "Roman stairs", monument-water tap and a place for picnic and barbecue.
