This is the first cache in the newly built Lovettsville Community Park. There is a nice view of the amphitheater, ponds, and the rest of the park. We hope you enjoy trying to find the cache as it can be a bit tricky. There is a new FTF coin (not active) as a prize for the first person to find it! You must log the cache to get credit. Please return the cache exactly where you found it so others can enjoy the find.
Lovettsville Community Park
The Lovettsville Community Park is the first and only park in Loudoun County that was purchased both by the county and a town, the Town of Lovettsville. Mayor Elaine Walker was instrumental in getting a Lovettsville community park. She championed the "Pennies for the park" campagin to raise enough money to help purchase the land with the county in 2004. The park should be completely finished in 2023 which makes it nearly a 20 year project. For more information about the park, see the Loudoun County website for more details.
