Cascade Reviewer: As I haven't heard from the cache owner, I must regretfully archive this cache.

If you decide to work on this cache, or have any questions at all, please email me at cascadereviewer@gmail.com. If you are able to fix the issues and the cache still meets all of the guidelines, it's possible that I could unarchive it at that time.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

In the state park, level terrain, trails may be muddy in wet seasons. Be sure to follow posted signs in the park---during wet/flooding periods, some trails may be closed. If that's the case when you visit, make sure to visit later at a drier season. :-)

Park at the Swim Beach parking lot. It's more dependably open than the other lot, and it's nearer to the first waypoint.
The starting coordinates are for Waypoint 1. While there, have fun playing while you collect the needed information to get you to waypoint 2.
A = B - 1
B = total number of yellow footholds on climbing structure
C = number of trees in semicircle
D = total number of slides (look everywhere!)
E = number of hanging rings
F = number of horseshoe backstops nearby
G = number of grills in the willows' semicircle ***count grill posts if grills appear to be missing (seasonal or maintenance work?)
H = G + 1
J = F x 3
K = E - 1

Waypoint 2: N 47 A.CD7
W 122 03.HJK

While at Waypoint 2 you can learn a lot about the salmon, streams, and wildlife in this watershed while collecting your needed clues for the final cache hiding place.

P = number of species of fish listed for the Issaquah Creek Basin
Q = number of suggested actions individuals can take to leave a "lighter footprint" on the environment
R = number of creeks named on the watershed map
S = number of miles the Sammamish River runs
T = degree of the slope sculpted into the sides of the Sammamish River in the early '60s
V = T - S + 1
X = R - 2
Y = P + Q + 1

final cache location:
N 47 V.P9P
W 122 X.8Y
Continue 70+ feet down the trail for nice views of the lake and creek. In season, marvel at the salmon, on the final leg of their trip of hundreds of miles back to their hatching place on the Issaquah Creek.
