This used to be a property line when Weldon Road still came through near here. The road was closed in the late 70s. Now this is the corner of our new Funderburg section of the Howard Colman Hall Creek Preserve, and is being restored to oak hickory woodland. You might be able to tell where the old fence line was...look for a "wall" of invasive Japanese honeysuckle yet to be removed.
