When Covid cancelled our spring cottage trip, we planned a backyard "camping trip", complete with a little fishing. G loved this spot. It was the first time we actually got a few nibbles! She even made a butterfly friend.
This is a pretty little spot in the West Highland Creek trail system. The trail makes a turn here before heading underneath Lawrence Ave. East. This is one of the few areas on the trail that you can get up close and personal with the creek without fighting through the brush. Drop a fishin' line in one of the deeper pools here, or just look for wildlife as you listen to the sounds of the creek.
This one is a reused peanut butter jar, so there's room for tradables. Try to exercise stealth when replacing as the area can be quite busy with people on the trail. As always, please put the lid on tight and place it back in its hiding spot securely. Happy Caching!
