Geocache Description:

This is a multi-stage cache where you have to collect digits. The route will take you to locations where you will see some of South Africa, and Cape Town in particular, in the form of history, art, a social hub, a city bowl suburb and an old mining site.

At the cache location is a flat rock (30 x 20 x 2 cm). The cache is buried just below the surface under this rock. It is a tupperware container (10 x 6 x 3 cm) with a blue lid. Bring small items, not larger than an AA battery.

The cache waypoint at the top of this page is actually waypoint 1 in the table below.

The original micro cache was lost due to the worst storms in 30 years causing a landslide. The cache is still there, covered with tons of sand and rocks.

WARNING: Bergies (homeless people) might be relaxing in the area after dark.

Original cache was hidden 19 May 2001.
