Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

Geocache Description:

The Helderberg Nature Reserve is situated in Somerset West on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain overlooking False Bay.

The Reserve has a large number of plant, bird and wildlife numbers within it’s boundaries. Some 170 confirmed species of birds, over 600 plant species, over 40 species of mammals with 30 reptile and 8 amphibian species. (This cache is named after a plant found in the reserve)

There are eight trails in the Reserve, of which the Sugarbird (yellow) Trail is rated as the easiest, at a distance of 2.9km and an estimated duration of 45min.

The reserve is open daily from 8:00-16:00

Entry fees (cash only) payable at the gate are as follows:

Vehicle - R15

Adult - R25

Child (3-17) - R15

Toddler (<3) - Free

Student - R15

Pensioner (60+) - R15

This cache placed near to the path so no vegetation will be damaged while you make the easy find.
