Sheps' TB Motel
Boscage
noun
A mass of trees or shrubs.
"The view was obscured by the boscage".
Just another word rarely used today, so I thought I'd try add it to my vocabulary. It perfectly describes where this cache is hidden.
This large cache has plenty of room for all Trackables and large swapables, and offers plenty of privacy.
Approach the GZ from the South side, as almost nobody will see you that way.
Sheps' park is a great place to stop by for an easy park n grab without worrying about busy traffic, and the cache is hidden so you are completely concealed while searching and opening the hide.
Also a good place to stow any TB's to begin their next chapter with another cacher.
The park is perfect for dog walkers or impromptu outdoor fun in the open paddock, also an easy walk around the perimeter on a formed track. Picnic tables, water, and toilets make it ideal for lunch if travelling.
And a perfect excuse to grab the two GeoCaches in the park while you're here.
The park was bequeathed in 2005 by the late Joy Shepard, as it was once part of her sheep farm.
The windmill, along with walnut trees, and a small dog's grave remain from the original farm.
Perhaps the grave is of a dog called Shep, and watches over all the other dogs who come to play and enjoy the park today.
This is version 2 of a cache by the same name in the same spot.
The original was not well engineered, it has therefore been replaced with a much stronger commercial model.
Besides, who doesn't love yet another cache to get a FTF and log?!
