Kūrinys yra skirtas pagerbti dailininkės Lidijos Meškaitytės kūrybos atminimą ir jos indėlį į Lietuvos dailę. Piešinys ant sienos, tai autorės nutapytas peizažas pavadinimu „Vakarėjant“ (1973 m.). SprayPrinter komanda iš Estijos kartu su idėjos autoriumi Morfai peizažą perkėlė ant sienos. Kūrinyje naudojamos vos 5 spalvos.
ĮDOMU: piešinį nutapė... robotas! SprayPrinter komandos suprogramuotas robotas nutapė paveikslą per 12 valandų, tuo tarpu, jei žmogus rankomis tapytų šį paveikslą ant sienos, truktų savaitę. Tokia technologija Lietuvoje panaudota pirmą kartą.

The work is intended to honor the memory of the artist Lidija Meškaitytė's work and her contribution to Lithuanian art. The drawing on the wall is a landscape painted by the author called "In the Evening" (1973). The SprayPrinter team from Estonia, together with the author of the idea, Morfai, moved the landscape to the wall. Only 5 colors are used in the work.
INTERESTING: the drawing was painted ... by a robot! The robot programmed by the SprayPrinter team painted the picture in 12 hours, while if a person were to paint this picture on the wall by hand, it would take a week. Such technology was used for the first time in Lithuania.

Tekstų ir nuotraukų autorius - Vykintas Gervė (gerve.lt) sukūręs "Gatvės meno žemėlapį" ir vedantis ekskursijas. Ačiū jam už įdirbį, Kauno sužymėjimą ir leidimą naudoti info geoslėptuvių kūrimui. Žemėlapyje virš 250 taškų. Trail'e gal bus mažiau. O gal ir ne ;)

Kaunas Street Art is a new Geocaching trail created by five geocaching enthusiasts and Kaunas fans (Matekarlo, Skiedra, KaunasLT, Litawor, Vykintas Gerve), inviting you to visit special places in Kaunas - colorful houses, memorable graffiti, sculptures, memorials.
The author of the texts and photos is Vykintas Gervė (gerve.lt), who has created the "Street Art Map" and is a professional tourism guide. Thanks to him for his work, pinpointing of locations and permission to use the info for creation of geocaches. The map has more than 250 points on the map. There may be less points on the trail. Or maybe not;)
