🇮🇹 Risalita ittiofauna
Questa cache, alle origini, doveva fare riferimento al Tennis la Pellerina. Dopo però un'attenta analisi psicologica, abbiamo deciso di cambiare il titolo da "Tennis la Pellerina" a "Risalita ittiofauna", in quanto molto più attraente rispetto al precedente. Detto questo, iniziamo con il listing vero e proprio.
Lo scopo dei dispositivi di risalita ittiofaunistica è quello di permettere ai pesci di percorrere la corrente del fiume (in questo caso, la Dora Riparia)sia in risalita che in discesa. questi dispositivi creano infatti un corridoio biologico che permette all'ittiofauna di raggiungere i siti di riproduzione, superando quegli ostacoli artificiali che, frapponendosi agli spostamenti, mettono a rischio la sopravvivenza della specie.
Questa rampa, inoltre, viene utilizzata per la risalita delle canoe dalla Dora che si dirigono verso Superga.
Il cache. All'interno del cache, sono presenti il logbook, una matita e le regole del Geocaching. Buona Caccia!
🇬🇧 Rising ichthyofauna
This cache, at the beginning, had to refer to the Tennis la Pellerina. However, after a careful psychological analysis, we decided to change the title from "Tennis la Pellerina" to "Risalita ichtiofauna", as it is much more attractive than the previous one. That said, let's start with the actual listing.
The purpose of the ichthyofaunistic ascent devices is to allow the fish to travel the current of the river (in this case, the Dora Riparia) both up and down. these devices in fact create a biological corridor that allows the ichthyofauna to reach the breeding sites, overcoming those artificial obstacles which, by hindering movement, put the survival of the species at risk.
This ramp is also used for the ascent of the canoes from the Dora heading towards Superga.
The cache. Inside the cache, there are the logbook, a pencil and the rules of Geocaching. Good hunting!
