This series of caches was designed for the Rotary Club of LaBelle. I know through caching that I have discovered many places I never would have otherwise known existed and what other way to have people explore parks and other various locations around the town.
The caches for this series will range from bison to small-ish and will not be the same container at each location, so unlike other series caches that use the same container, we have tried to switch it up! We want the cachers to enjoy their surroundings while on the hunt.
This cache highlights one of LaBelle little jewels. The 1953 "Old Betsy" Fire Truck. This is an original fire truck to LaBelle that serviced the community for 53 years. It was recently refinished and put on static display near it original home, the now Fire House Theater. This theater is located in downtown LaBelle. This theater has been in operation for over 28 years and is 100% volunteer run. While in townere enjoy some honey from The Harold P Curtis Honey Co while taking a stroll through the many antique stores & shops along the way.
