This cache was created so we could release and find travel bugs. In a way, a TB Hotel. Howeer, typically, when you think of of a TB hotel, it has easy access (near highways, airports, freeway rest stops etc.). That way it helps travel bugs get moving to their goal. But, since we wanted to hide a larger container, we opted to select a more secluded area.
We love hiking in this area, and especially love the view of the quarry. So instead of a TB hotel, we created a Travel Bug retreat. Everyone needs the opportunity to take a break from busy goals or some time away in a quiet and secluded place where you can relax.... Even TB's.
We thought this was a good place to hide a regular container that although is secuded, is still accessible with just a little hike. And bonus, the view is kinda cool. Gives a different perspective of the quarry pool.
