We noticed that there were none in this great park so we decided that it was high time that a cache was hidden in Garner State Park.
This gives you something else to do while in the park, especially if you go when its too cold to play in the river. This one isn't too bad. The hike is fairly short and the climb isn't too high either. Because of the recent flooding, we put it up high enough that flooding would never be a problem for this cache. The cache is a 4" PVC tube with caps. The inside of the pipe is kinda small so don't bring anything too "chubby" to put in it. The contents are the usual fodder we have found on previous cache hunts. But, in our opinion, the thrill is in the hunt and not the "treasures" that you get when you find one. Good luck!
