This is a Yeararound Cache, Winter and Summer, Easy little hill, in Winter need to rent Snow Shoes, can be found with snow on ground, off Fairways Rd. east of Sun Valley City Hall.
Ruud Mt. Chair Lift was placed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 as the First Ski Lift. Ruud Mt. is named after two great Norwegian ski jumpers, Sigmund and Birger Ruud. Sigmund helped Alf Engen design the jump hill next to the ski lift. The outline of the jump can still be seen there. Org. contents of cache.
