Geocache Description:

This cache is for those people who like a long walk, or like myself, hate long walks but feel compelled to do them for the exercise. The 10K starts at the South Beaver lake parking lot and goes around the lake counterclockwise. Bicycles are not permitted on most of the route, but dogs are welcome, and almost appear to be mandatory. It is probably best to keep your dog OFF the leash except for the two active beach areas. A roving dog’s leash makes a great trip wire for the joggers. If you know the area well, it is possible to cheat by walking in to each point and driving between the parking lots around the lake. I have tried to place them so you will still get about a 6K walk. There are lots of water fountains and washrooms, and you can expect to spend about 2 hours before you get back to your car. Enjoy the exercise and the view. You will need a pencil and paper or a pocket calculator.

What the first point is should be very obvious when you get near.

The second point is just as obvious as the first at:
N48 32.0xx, where xx is the last three digits of the year Cecil was born minus 852.
W123 23.xxx, where xxx is the last three digits of the year Cecil was born minus 181.

The third point is right on the trail and equally obvious:
N48 31.xxx, where xxx is the last three digits of the year “Bud” was born minus 705.
W123 23.xxx, where xxx is the last three digits of the year “Bud” was born minus 22.

The Cache is a Tupperware container at:
N 48 30.xxx where xxx is the last 3 digits of the year the train stopped minus 353.
W 123 23.xxx where xxx is the last three digits of the year the train stopped minus 127.
