If you are coming in on I-55, take the Jackson exit (exit 99 when
traveling south). Go all the way through Jackson and make a left on
Hwy 34 (there are signs marking the way). The mill is in
Burfordville, about five miles down Hwy 34. It is a very easy
drive. Anyway, on to the good stuff!!

There is a four story brick mill and one of only four covered
bridges in the state of Missouri at this site. Take time and tour
the mill. It takes about forty-five minutes and they will take you
to all four of its floors. The mill was still being used as late as
the early 1950's. Today's mill is the third one built on the site
and was completed around 1866. This is a beautiful area but is
prone to flooding so you might want to postpone a trip if we have
had heavy rains. Have a great time and enjoy the area!!!
