We placed our cache when trying to find another cache in the area... very close to ours. We weren't able to find the cache we were looking for, so we made a new one. =o) We are using the same coordinates up to where we left our cache. (English Tom above palm springs)
best advice I have is to go up early early in the am as it is about a mile of steep, rocky incline and then coming back decline... Make sure to give yourself enough time to get out before dark.
CACHE is in a approx 8 in round tin, vintage budwiser print.
We moved away from the desert, but before we moved Holly removed the log book to use for a science project where she was going to explain how accurate a gps unit is. We never did go back up and return it. Someone might want to place a new log book in it.
CACHE contains:
geocache explanation
pencil
nsync diary for log book
whitehouse photo from Jan 2000
Dog Beanie Baby
Rubber bands/ hair ties
pennies (a lot)
Rose quartz
rugrats watch
