This geocacache is located right at the boundary divide for Minnesota and Wisconsin. It is .86/mile from the parking coordinates, (ATCF). I started this adventure from the end of the trail near, "Douglas FonDu" GC140P5, and headed north from there. It is a difficult and challenging bushwack. Two ridges up and down, and two valleys that could be wet. Take all the safety precautions before you venture out. The geology in this area is awesome. You can see the erosion taking place along the ridges with the sandy loam under the topsoil and then the red clay under that. And imagining this was all part of Lake Superior a couple thousand years ago.
