This geocache is right at the dividing boundary coordinates of Minnesota and Wisconsin. At the trail, the Minnesota side is the Superior Hiking Trail, and the Wisconsin side is the North Country Trail. There is a backpacker campsite .25/mile from GZ on the Mn side. This is a scenic trail with a walking bridge that crosses the Red River. The geocache is in a tall stump on a narrow ridge 200' from the trail.
