Grab your friends and family, get outside, and go exploring! 50 new adventures await all across the beautiful state of Michigan. This one is known as Adventure 11. Each new adveuture takes you to a new location surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor activities.
Adventure 11:
Located in Monroe, MI William C. Sterling State Park has more than 1300 acres to roam. This park is the only state park on Lake Erie. This park is open year round and does require an admission fee or recreation passport (available through the MI DNR). The park is well known for its walleye fishing, three lagoons and sandy beachfront near the mouth of Sandy Creek. There are even 7 miles of hiking trails! Hunting is allowed in designated areas, it is recommend to wear Hunter Orange in the fall.
