This is one of my favorite trails to hike in the Greenwood area. The southern-most scenic overlook is such an awesome view especially during peak fall foliage, and you can almost see my house from it!
Parking: There is a dirt lot just off of Greenwood Road with a large green sign that says "Maggie's Nature Park". Right next to the parking lot you can find the main trail sign.
Trail: The trail you will be following is the Peaked Mountain Trail, outlined in yellow on the trail sign. It is well-marked all the way to the scenic overlook (where the cache is located) with yellow paint on trees and rocks. There are a couple of "T"-intersections on the way up but as long as you keep following the yellow markers, you should arrive at the overlook in 25-35 minutes. It starts off quite steep with many rocks and roots, but once you get to the yellow loop near the top it is relatively flat. There are a couple of areas that can be pretty slippery when it rains, so plan accordingly.
This is the first geocache I have placed so if you have any critiques feel free to leave me some feedback afterward when you log it! The rest of the trail system is really great as well, so be sure to check out the other trails if you have the extra time. Happy searching! :)
