This cache is placed at Irvin Park. Also known as Pee Wee’s Nest, Irvin Park was given to Curwensville by Elizabeth and Hugh M. Irvin in 1921. The name Pee Wee’s Nest came from the small birds that roosted here. Across the river you may notice several yellow school buses used to transport area children. Are you familiar with Pennsylvania’s School Bus Stopping Law? Motorists must stop at least 10 feet away from school buses that have their red lights flashing and stop arm extended. They must stop when they are behind a bus, meeting the bus, or approaching an intersection where a bus is stopped.
