Geocache Description:

The cache is in a regular clip lock plastic container located on a lovely walk along the deep, secluded Cwm Gwaun glacial valley.

It is most easily approached from the village of Llanychaer, near Fishguard. After parking on the village green, walk towards Dinas and over the bridge before joining the well-marked footpath.

The bridge nearby was built in a weekend by the local community group in a weekend, when they transported everything they needed from the village for the work, including the beers and the bbqs!

The path can be muddy underfoot so sturdy footwear is recommended. There are also two other caches along this route.

The valley was formed as a sub glacial meltwater channel of the formidable Irish Sea glacier.
Cwm = Valley, Gwaun = Welsh for ‘moor'.
