Country House
Huttons Ambo Hall C1820 is a neat mansion of white stone, it was the residence of Captain T. S. Starkey, who succceded to the property on the death of Miss Starkey, in 1884.
On 25 April 1986, the hall was awarded Grade II listed status and is described as:
Entry Name: Hutton Hall
GV II Hall, now flats. c1820 with later C19 alteration and extension; remodelled in C20.
Chiselled sandstone with sandstone ashlar plinth and dressings; slate roof. Originally symmetrical H-plan; wings extended to rear later and third wing added to right.
